“Building better communicators, stronger leaders and effecting change.”
Hi, I’m Aaron and welcome to my blog and podcast. If you’re here because of The Benefit of Hindsight podcast, welcome! I get a kick out of interviewing business owners about their experiences.
I graduated from Wichita State University with a Bachelors in Business in 2003 and an MBA in 2007. I am a Commercial Banker for Equity Bank in Wichita, KS. My goal is to be the person people in my community think of first when they think of banking.
I joined Toastmasters in 2011 because I wanted to get better at speaking. I was good, but I knew there were ways I could be better and by surrounding myself with people who were in the same boat as I was, I knew I could become a great speaker. Eventually, I tried competitive speaking. In 2011, my Humorous Speech, “Idioms and Idiots” won the Club, Area and Divisional contests. In 2012, my Inspirational Speech, “You’re Not Failing Enough” won the Club and Area competitions.
I enjoy going out there and speaking, so I am always on the lookout for speaking opportunities! If you like my message and are interested in having me speak to your organization, please contact me here. I recently set up a GigSalad page where you can get more details on my speaking arrangements and request to book me: Aaron Bushell’s GigSalad page. You can find more methods of contacting me on the Ask Aaron section of my site.
I am married and I live in my hometown of Wichita, KS with my wife, kids and dog. You can also find me at [email protected], facebook.com/AaronBushellSpeaks or twitter.com/aaronbushell or call me at 316-778-0759.
